The originator of Real De Oaxaca Mezcal, Gregorio Santiago López is a native of Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca – the region regarded as the "World Capital of Mezcal." He is descended from the two families best-known for making traditional Mezcal in Oaxaca – The Santiago and López Mateo families.
From an early age, Gregorio, was involved in all areas of production and marketing of Mezcal. He is proud of his roots and culture, and he is dedicated to providing the best of authentic Oaxacan cuisine for your enjoyment.
